Grants and funding
One of the key areas of funding Oakley Stitchers appreciate, is through grants and external funding.
These organisations have generously provided us with some of the necessary finances to keep us and our variety of projects running over the years. The Support we get from these amazing organisations is vital and ensures we are able to continue helping people, organisations and communities, locally and around the UK.
We cannot thank them enough for their kindness and generosity.
How You Can Help....
There are a number of ways you can support us.
Some are at no financial cost, by supporting us with easy fundraising etc, following on Facebook and sharing what we do.
Give a little, or give a lot, every bit helps us to help others.
As a non-profit organisation, we rely on the generosity of the public to donate towards running costs and materials to produce stock.

Fundraising provides another way for us to receive the vital funds needed to keep us going.

With the excellent reputation that we have built for, repurposing items and being as inclusive as possible.
Keeping things affordable for all knitters, crafters, crochetters and sewers
Providing a purpose for our stitchers and items to support others by providing an outlet for our volunteers.
We also have many people who can no longer enjoy their stash for a variety of reasons or families who know their loved one would have not wanted their items to reach landfill.
Our shop is the perfect place to find a bargain and do your bit for the environment too.
We have tables for people to run groups or just meet up, tea, coffee.. so come along and find something to enspire you while supporting Stitchers too!
We run a series of workshops and community groups throuout the year, which not only support local residents with additional skills and support, but also provide a safe warm space for them to meet up with likeminded people for friendship and relaxation.
Each person that attends any of our face to face activites helps contribute to the ever increasing costs of providing the activities and items we do while having fun!

Stitchers have over 30 inspiring activites that we could share with your members.
So far we have provided our talks and activites to brownies, Rotary, guides, Milestones Museum, scouts, WI, U3A, schools and many other community associations and groups.

We want to keep sewers enjoying their relaxation time and hobby.
For each service Oakley Stitchers receives a donation to help us with our costs.
Not only do we provide this service at a subsidised rate, but we also benefit too.
